David Laudien - Photographer and Web Designer in Vienna, Austria
Since 1999 I´m working freelance in the field of photography and web design. In the beginning most of my work was based in Germany. Lately I started working as photographer and web designer in Vienna, Austria. I did a three-year fulltime course in "commercial photography" at the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design & Technology in Dublin, Ireland and graduated with an Irish "National Diploma".
My fields of specialization are as follows:
Photography:
- Advertising
- Catalogue

- Architecture
- Stage
- Reportage (no private events)
All shootings can either be done on location (Vienna and surrounding) or in the studio. The images can be taken digtal or on 35 mm, medium format or large format. Digital images are being delived on CD/DVD or can be transferred via the internet by email or FTP.
I am also doing art photography. However, for the sake of my work as photographer, of my customers and of myself it is very important to me to clearly distinguish between commercial photography and my art projects. I created an own website for my art photography: www.dlaudien.net.
Digital Imaging:
- Preparation of images for print
- Preparation of images for the WWW
- Image manipulation and retouching
- Photomontage
- Digital image restauration
All work is being done on a Mac with calibrated screen using Adobe Photoshop. The finished image data is either provided on CD/DVD or transferred on the Internet via email or FTP.
Web Design:
- Creation of new web sites
- Updating contents of existing web pages
- Spicing up old web sites
- Photography & Webdesign in combination (e.g. for presentations of companies or events)
- Creation of flash banners
